Well, it’s happened again, I’m reading a book and I’m astonished and amazed at the resonance I’m getting from it.

Those of you who know me well will probably not be surprised  by this because the book is “Anastasia”, the first book of the Ringing Cedars Series,which tells the story of entrepreneur Vladimir Megre’s trade trip to the Siberian taiga (forests) in 1995, where he witnessed incredible spiritual phenomena connected with sacred ‘ringing cedar’ trees. He spent three days with a woman named Anastasia who shared with him her unique outlook on subjects as diverse as gardening, child-rearing, healing, Nature, sexuality, religion and more.  Those that know me will already be aware of my strong ‘spiritual’ bonding connection with Nature and Gardening.

This wilderness experience transformed Vladimir so deeply that he abandoned his commercial plans and, penniless, went to Moscow to fulfil Anastasia’s request and write a book about the spiritual insights she so generously shared with him. True to her promise this life-changing book, once written, has quickly become an international best-seller and has already touched the hearts of millions of people world-wide.

An amazing thing about me actually reading this wonderful book is that for well over a month I have been receiving messages and signs in various guises that I should buy it (Buy It!! – I’ve bought the whole set!!) but kept putting it off because I vowed to myself that I would stop getting every book I get recommended.  I’d had enough of reading self-help ‘Guru’ type books and I thought that “Anastasia” was just another one of those.  But then my good friend Debra Oakland of ‘Living In Courage’ told me during our regular chats on Skype and then sent an email telling me that I just had to read it, that I should trust her on this and that I would realize why as soon as I opened the book.  Now, when Debra speaks to me like that (and she does quite often – Bless Her!) I listen and take action.  As usual Debra was right!
