Perhaps we tend to too easily forget the suffering that women in particular have to suffer in this modern day world of ours.  We get so wrapped up in our own personal everyday lives that these things get pushed to the back of our consciousness, something we will think and do something about tomorrow.  Well, tomorrow is nearly here, and it’s time we all started to at least start planning for it’s arrival or tomorrow will be an other opportunity missed.

Why should we (us men in particular) concern ourselves with the plight of so many women in so many painful and dangerous circumstances?  I will let the ‘A Safe World For Women Campaign’ explain it fully to you, but let me make my own point of view to you for a moment.

When I look back at my own lifetime the most influential people I have met have been women.  They are the creators of life, love and compassion and in most cases it is the woman that holds their family together.  Women are so closely attached to Mother Earth, they are a part of her, that they have a closer sense and appreciation of life than most men ever will.  So if for no other reason than to give them the respect and gratitude that they deserve we should give them our full and devoted support.

If we are going to turn this planet Earth that we all live on together into a peaceful, loving and compassionate world we need  the energy and vibrancy that only women can provide, so we must do what we can Now by supporting and taking action with campaigns like ‘A Safe World For Women’.  Heck, I haven’t even mentioned the moral human obligation we all have to take care of each other, whether we be a man, woman or child we are all entitled to the same level of loving kindness and appreciation.
